The Bisterne Estate covers some 1,600 hectares (4,000 acres) just south of Ringwood. About 1,000 hectares (2,500 acres) are farmed by Bisterne Farms and three tenants. The remainder of the area is woods, river or environmental projects, with a wide variety of natural habitats.
